I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you so much for the quality work your team did to Shiraz.
The bottom paint job looks amazing, and I noticed that you even cleaned off the bottom step of my sugar scoop (it had quite a brown stain from the water up here in Pittwater). Johnny was super helpful in getting me off the mooring and through the channel today, and did everything with a smile. Everybody always greeted me with a smile and I felt right at home.
I’ve had some terrible experiences with slipways in the past, and I really appreciate the positive experience I’ve just had. All the best.

We have owned our present boat for eleven years and during that time Bluey and his staff have looked after all out of water maintenance. This has included not only regular anti foul and anode replacement but also stabiliser and keel cooler servicing and non routine preventive and cosmetic work. I’ve had my Island Gypsy maintained at Careel Bay Marina for many years. Beyond the annual slip and antifoul they’ve accomplished many things up to and including a full top sides repaint.
The standard of work is exemplary and the service second to none. It’s the little extras that keep me going back. The way Rob communicates during the work, keeping me up to date and sending progress photos, the fact they happily pick my boat up from RMYC and deliver it back at no extra charge. One day I even received a call from Rob as he was passing my boat on it’s mooring, he wanted to let me know the bimini had come adrift during a storm, that’s what I call good service. You can tell it’s a family run business and as a customer they make you feel part of the family too.

This is a short note to express our appreciation for the exceptional service that we have enjoyed during our stay at Careel Bay. We are cruising sailors and we have used marinas from Sydney to the Whitsundays, and Careel Bay has been the best by far. Nothing is too much trouble it seems and everybody has gone out of their way to help us with everything we need.
